Experience
Joined the Seven-Up Bottling Company in1968 as Plant Manager. Was promoted to Marketing Director in 1972. Led the expansion program of the company into three new factories at Ikeja in Lagos, Ibadan in the west and Kano in the North.
Managing Director of International Tobacco Co PLC in 1986, a joint venture with Philip Morris Inc. In 1999, the company was sold. Received the Chieftaincy Title of Parakoyi of Ogbaland, “Chief” conferred by the King of the tribes of Yoruba land of Western Nigeria. Moved to Beirut, Lebanon as CEO, Lebanon & Overseas for the Group in 2000.
In 2001 was appointed as Deputy Chairman of MAK Holdings Ltd, and Chairman of the Human Resource Committee of the Board of MAK, the Holding Company of the El-Khalil family Group.
Member of Continental Beverages SAL (Holding) Board of Directors.
Member of Continental Beverages SAL (Offshore) Board of Directors.
Served as Director of Beirut Riyad Bank S.A.L., Lebanon; Director in Seven-Up Bottling Co. Nigeria, Director in Green Eagles Cork and Seals, (manufacturers of metal closures and plastic containers); Sunglass Nigeria Limited, (manufacturing of bottles and glass containers); Chairman of Tanzania Bottling SA; Chairman Cavalier Hotel, Beirut; Director & shareholder in various other Holding companies; and Director TIME ltd Beirut.
